Hanwha had a relatively easy time of it, thanks to a strong start from Moon Dong-ju and a home run from Noh Si-hwan. Moon threw 102 pitches over six innings against the Doosan bats, allowing just one run on four hits and one walk while striking out five to earn the win.

Hanwha struck first in the bottom of the first inning when Noh Si-hwan, batting with one out, swung at a three-pitch pitch from Kwak Bin. He smashed it over the right-centre fence for a two-run home run (his 27th of the season).

Noh fired up the cannon again three days after his three-homer game against KT Wiz on the 9th of this month, and with his single, he remained atop the home run leaderboard. He extended his lead over second-place Choi Jung (SSG Landers, 21 home runs) to six.
