Man City legend ‘bursts his pants’ during live broadcast, says “I’ll do the Mbappe ceremony” – crotch-grabbing hilarity ensues

Manchester City legend and broadcaster Micah Richards (35-England) had his crotch explode during a live Champions League broadcast.

Richards was calling the third leg of the 2023-24 UEFA Champions League 온라인카지노(UCL) group stage from the CBS studios at 4 a.m. ET on Sept. 26. The match featured Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) against AC Milan.

PSG forward Kylian Mbappe opened the scoring in the 32nd minute with a right-footed mid-range shot past the AC Milan defense. Immediately after scoring, Mbappe ran to the corner flag and performed his signature gesture.

Mbappe’s move is slightly similar to Cristiano Ronaldo’s “downpour” move. While Ronaldo spreads his arms as he jumps and lands, Mbappe puts his hands in his armpits as he jumps and lands. He also faces the camera instead of turning his back to it.

When Richards saw Mbappe’s goal, he said, “I can do that,” so he mimicked the move in the indoor studio, before Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher and host Kate Abdo could stop him.

The finish was perfect. Richards stared into the camera with a smug look on his face and a “I’m good, right?” expression on his face. Carragher was pleased, but then came the problem. Richards noticed a change in the fit of his pants and looked down between his legs. His suit pants had burst.

Richards quickly grabbed his crotch and screamed. Caragher, who had also noticed, grabbed his head and screamed. The female host, Kate, turned away and laughed. Everyone in the studio stamped their feet and laughed.

Broadcaster CBS posted a short edited version of the scene, with the caption “Richards is going to need some new clothes” and a smiley emoji underneath. British outlet Sports Bible also shared the video, calling it “possibly Richards’ last Mbappe ceremony.”

Richards played on the flank for Manchester City in the English Premier League (EPL). He grew up playing for City’s youth teams and played for the club from 2005 to 2015. Since retiring, he has appeared on various TV shows and entertained with his hilarious antics. Fellow pundits Thierry Henry and Carragher used to make fun of Richards for not winning the Champions League.

He also has a brief history with Korean soccer. In the 2012 London Olympics quarterfinal match between South Korea and Great Britain, Richards started at center back for England. South Korea took a 1-0 lead on Ji Dong-Won’s first goal of the day, but Aaron Ramsey scored a penalty to tie the game at 1-1. South Korea won the penalty shootout and advanced to the quarterfinals. South Korea won the bronze medal at the tournament.

Meanwhile, PSG defeated AC Milan 3-0 behind goals from Mbappe, Kolo Mouani, and Lee Kang-In. The win puts PSG atop Group F with a 2-1 record in Champions League group play. AC Milan drops to fourth in the group.
