Kim Minjae’s new colleague? Tuchel asked me to sign him…”I’m sure I’ll stay in the January transfer market.”

It’s unlikely that Thomas Tuchel’s dream will come true in the January transfer window.

“Fulham are confident of securing the services of Juan Palinha, 28, in the January transfer window next year, despite steady interest from Bayern Munich,” British outlet TeamTalk reported on Monday.

The defensive midfielder has been a target for the Bavarians this summer. Tuchel wanted to bring in a more stable option than Joshua Kimmich and Leon Goretzka.레모나토토 도메인

Palinha emerged as a potential target. Considered one of the best defensive midfielders in the Premier League, Palinha’s work rate and neat tackling ability attracted interest from Munich.

His performances last season were also impressive. He made 40 appearances across all competitions, establishing himself as an integral part of Fulham’s defense.

Munich’s interest in Palinha was not a rumor. The Bavarians even tried to sign Palinha this summer with a £55 million transfer fee. However, the deal fell through when Fulham pulled out at the last minute.

He has since re-signed. Rum signed Palinha to a new contract last month. The deal runs until 2028. It also included an option for a one-year extension.

The re-signing didn’t deter Tuchel. Tuchel reportedly reiterated to the hierarchy that Palinha is an integral part of his project.

It is unlikely that the transfer will happen next January. According to the report, Fulham have no intention of allowing Palinha to leave in the middle of the season.

Paying the transfer fee itself would be difficult. ‘TeamTalk’ says: “Due to the renewal, Palinha’s transfer will require a larger transfer fee. Munich cannot afford to pay £55 million in the winter transfer window, even if it is the same as this summer.”
